What is "My Twitter Story?"
We all know the Twitterverse is a crazy place. Stories of humor, love, happiness and great riches abound. Everyone seems to have a Twitter story! Do you? Did your story happen because of Twitter, in spite of Twitter, or did Twitter play some quirky role that's just so crazy it's hard to believe? Only YOU know... and this is YOUR opportunity to make YOUR story known.
Tell Me More... ~ toggle ~
Interesting stories are happening around the world and right in your back yard, literally 140 characters at a time. All weaved together, they cover the broad spectrum of human emotions. Together with Twitter; we laugh, we cry, we succeed and we get through the day... one little tweet at a time.

What if...
Nobel Prize winning poet, T. S. Eliot, if living today, would perhaps have ended "The Hollow Men" this way:
This is the way the world ends
Not with a bang but a with twitter.
Wayne Gretzky's famous quote might have read...
100% of the tweets you don't twitter don't get read.
The favorite old quip would morph into:
Opportunity may knock only once, but it Twitters all day long.
Albert Einstien might have said:
I want to know God's thoughts... the rest are twitterings.
But leave it to W.C. Fields, he'd likely have topped them all:
If at first you don't succeed, tweet tweet again. Then quit. There's no use being a damn fool about it.

These are the makings of Twitter Stories, but it's YOUR story that we seek. A short story between 300 and 1200 words -OR- if you prefer to you can make it into a poem.

Guidelines for Your Twitter Story ~ toggle ~
- Tell an exciting, sad or humorous story about something that has happened to you or someone you know surrounding your use of Twitter. Make sure that you introduce your character(s).
- Tell your Twitter story in a way that will make the reader cry, shout hurray, or roll on the floor in laughter. Don't leave anything out — what did you do, what exactly happened, how did you feel?
- The story should center around something you did or experienced with Twitter; it should include a problem, issue or situation. It should include dialogue and the character should express their feelings though the conflict or situation. It should end in a result, such as a lesson learned, a positive change or pay-off, more Twitter followers, you made a million bucks, you got married, you saved a pet or helped a child.
- If you want to include a web page, an image, photo, video or audio; just include the web address (URL) with your story. If it's really relevant, we might include your link in the book!
- Above all, let your story come from your HEART! You may be destined for fame.
